Monday back to school thought it was going to be
a normal, boring day like every other
but I was wrong. Very, very wrong. Ahh! I thought to myself
when Mr Logan said taste testing I screamed in my head. OH NO! OH NO! Not taste
testing. What if it’s seafood, I hate seafood I just can’t eat seafood and I
didn’t want to cry I thought to myself. I had a panic attack.
Monday 10 of September 2012 between 10:30am and 12:30pm room
11 Stoke School Mr Logan ’s
class had taste testing. Man waiting for the food was making me more and more
nervous. I hate waiting for the food. But it changed when Mr Logan said I
couldn’t eat the first food because the seeds are very much like nuts and I
can’t have nuts. So I felt very, very lucky and a little bit happy because I didn’t
have to eat the first food. I am glad that I didn’t have to eat it because it
was seafood. It was seasoned anchovy with sesame seeds. It looked crunchy,
gross and weird. It was long, pointy and looked like a crabs claws.
NO! I have to try this one. The
next one was dried squid it was DISGUSTING! I thought was going to spew. I
thought it was some sort of seafood because it smelt fishy and it had a bad
smell. The dried squid was chewy, weird, stringy and the colour of it was
yellow. This time I had the blindfold on because 3 in a group had the blindfold
on then it was the other 3.
Wasabi flavored peas yuck! Next was
the wasabi flavored peas. They were DISGUSTING! Green, spicy, small, hard,
round and powdery. The next food was sesame peanut candy. I couldn’t eat this
one because it had peanuts in it. The sesame peanut candy had a peanut butter
smell, it was square, shaped like a bar, it was black or yellow orangey colour
and looked abit like toffee.
sounds scary
